Parlor Magic - G3 Turn Sequence segments Turnon draw and option to redraw Turnon prompts play of a card Turnon chooses attackers Turnoff chooses defenders Turnon uses cards' special features Turnoff uses cards' special features Turnoff prompts play of a card Combat is resolved Cycle to turnon prompts play of a card After an optional redraw, the turn is ended automatically and play passes to the opponent's next turn. A turn ends when turnon opts not to make an attack. Turnoff then becomes turnon for the succeeding turn. Play of a card alternates one to one only when the prompter elects to play one. If the prompter plays a card and the opponent plays no card in return, the prompter may not play another card in that segment. When attack is initiated, no card play is allowed until turnoff prompts any after declaring defenders, and no card play is allowed after combart resolution until turnon prompts any in recycle. Play of a Land counts as a card play, and is only allowed to turnon once in a turn. If turnon plays no Land prior to an attack, a Land would technically only be playable following declaration of any defenders as a response if turnoff has then played a card; just held until recycling to turnon's own prompt capability. In an attack, the owners' optional allocations for individual card- to- card encounters consider that any of the designated attacking Creatures are available for confrontation by any of the designated defenders. In this regard, the capability to make another attack simulates the appointing of conflicting groups in a turn limit of a single attack.
